Diving Into the Movies
Please note: "Diving into the Movies" will begin on Monday, June 10, 1–2:30 PM — one week later than originally scheduled. The fourth and final class will be Monday, July 1.
This class will foster the fun, vitality, and warmth of friends sharing a conversation about a great film they’ve just seen. Prior to class, participants will watch four films selected for their engaging themes, issues, storytelling, and acting (students will receive notes about what to watch for). You'll then meet online for a lecture and discussion about the films’ elements. The movie list will be provided before the start of the course.

Member Praise for Harry Chotiner
Harry's outstanding knowledge (not only of the film industry, but also history, politics, economics, and the social sciences in general) added immeasurably to the viewing experience and to the insights he shared with the class. In addition, he has a warm, supportive, open and compassionate personality, which created an atmosphere that drew forth and nurtured student comments, questions and observations. He is a truly exceptional teacher!
Harry is exceptional! I would take a course from him every term if it were taught that often.
