Cultivating Joy
Joy is available to us, even in the darkest moments of this complex world. In fact, it may be more important to seek out and cultivate joy now as we despair over those things we can't control. This is a practical course offering simple actions to cultivate joy in our everyday lives.
Faculty Bio
Sara Orem has taught for OLLI at Berkeley for 10 years. Her background and academic study is in positive psychology, in the many ways we can enhance positive emotions to live a more satisfying and fulfilling life.She particularly enjoys facilitating small classes where we all learn together and encourage each other.
This is an In-Person Workshop
- Classes will meet in person at the Golden Bear Center, Suite 365, at 1995 University Ave., Berkeley
- Class is limited to 18 members

Schedule Highlights
- Course starts on Thursday, Sept. 19, and ends on Thursday, Oct. 24
- Classes meet for 6 weeks, 2 hours per session (10–noon)
- All course materials will remain available to view and enjoy through Dec. 31
